Municipal Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Latina, December 2013 - January 2014
The exhibit at the Municipal Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Latina (Palazzo dellaCultura) will be inaugurated by Mikel Gjokaj and Stefano Piali on December 18, 2013, at 5 pm. Visionary Realism, which will be on view till January 20, 2014. It is a double solo exhibition dedicated to Gjokaj and Piali, the most important exponents of the so-called “Visionary Realism”, a branch of the contemporary artistic research. Around forty works (including paintings and sculptures) are exhibited, all from the collection of the Ulysses Gallery of Contemporary Art in Rome, which organized the exhibition promoted by the Department of Culture of the City of Latina. The catalog that will record the exhibition will be called Album n. 1 of the series "Gli Album di Ulisse", with a preface by Silvia Pegoraro.
